I’m a product designer with 9+ years of experience, though I fell into service design without realising it at first. People kept telling me I was good at untangling messy problems, so I kept leaning into it. I started as a digital designer in 2014, moved into UX and product design in 2016, and now people tend to bring me the projects that need unpicking from multiple angles before anyone can see a way through. There’s something genuinely satisfying about going deep on a problem, a bit like organising pencils by colour, and I’m a sponge for detail: I tend to remember every system quirk long after everyone else has forgotten it.
Outside of work you'll usually find me at roller derby, deep in a sci-fi or LitRPG book, or being dragged around Hampshire by my very cute German Shepherd. I'm self-diagnosed organised chaos, and yes, I have a genuine love of stationery that borders on a personality trait.
Colleagues describe me as someone who facilitates workshops with senior leadership with ease, delivers production-ready specs with minimal oversight, and stays confident and dynamic under pressure with stakeholders.
